Skin, Hair & Face: 3 New Drugstore Products That Are SO Good

If your hot girl summer has burned a giant hole in your bank account, don’t worry, girl, we’re right there with you! If this has simultaneously coincided with your beauty stash running low – typical, isn’t it? – don’t stress as we’ve got three hot new drugstore products to rescue your hair, skin, and face. These new drops will keep your skin glowy, your hair glossy, and your beat intact from the first leaf of fall up until the holiday season.

SKIN: Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Retinol Face Serum Capsules, $10

1-Neutrogena-Rapid-Wrinkle-Repair-RetinolSource: Neutrogena

If your skin has been subject to increased sun exposure this summer and needs some major TLC, these retinol capsules are here for you. The water biodegradable seaweed capsules contain a supercharged dose of retinol that helps target fine lines, wrinkles, and uneven skin tone. It also brightens dull skin and sunspots, which are particularly common at the end of summer. Plus, the lightweight serum is fragrance-free, hypoallergenic, and non-comedogenic so that it won’t block your pores. We also love the single-use capsule as it preserves the potency of the active ingredients and provides the perfect amount of product to prevent pilling. Oh, and they’re perfect for travel.

BEAT: NYX Professional Makeup Limited Edition: Sex Ed First Base Blurring Primer, $14

2-FIRST-BASE-BLURRING-PRIMERSource: NYX Professional Makeup

NYX has teamed up with Netflix’s hit show Sex Education and dropped a collection of back-to-school essentials like this vegan primer. The non-drying, lightweight formula will instantly blur imperfections and minimize the appearance of pores and fine lines. It also ensures that your makeup stays put and looks fresh for up to 12 hours. We love how it feels on our skin – it feels drying but leaves our skin feeling smooth and hydrated. #Obsessed.

HAIR: MONDAY Haircare Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner, $8 each

We have to admit, we grabbed this shampoo and conditioner at the drugstore simply because of the pastel pink packaging. How could you not? But as soon as we tried the formula, we fell in love. Both the shampoo and conditioner are jam-packed with hydrating, hair-happy ingredients. The shampoo is enriched with coconut oil to nourish and hydrolyzed rice proteins that help strengthen the hair follicle and provide a surge of moisture. It’s also formulated with shea butter and vitamin E to support a healthy scalp and encourage regrowth. It also lathers with ease and smells divine. The conditioner, which contains all of the aforementioned ingredients, plus glycerin, provides an extra surge of weightless hydration. Our hair detangled with ease when we stepped out of the shower, and it didn’t frizz. Instead, our S waves were defined and bouncy.

Another major selling point is they’re both free of parabens and are clean and vegan. As for the packaging, it’s sustainable and 100% recyclable. They literally thought of everything!
