Get The Sharpest Cheekbones With 2 Products You Probably Already Own

Put your hands up if you love the snatch? If you’re anything like us, it gives us this bad bish energy and essentially enables us to fake a facelift in seconds using just makeup. So of course, we’re always on the prowl for new tutorials and techniques to perfect our craft. We recently landed on this tutorial, which creates a gorgeous snatched look with JUST two beauty products that you probably already have in your kit. It’s the simplicity, for us.

The Hack

The hack: Okay, we’ve seen plenty of concealer hacks this year, but this one’s different. It’s all about lifting your cheekbones to the Gods and getting that celeb snatch. To get the look, it involves applying your product to not one or two but FOUR strategic areas, followed by a brightening powder to accentuate the lift.

The hype: @victorialyn’s tutorial has accumulated 600K likes. The proof of the pudding lies in the hack’s simplicity – who doesn’t love a trick that uses what you already have?

How to get the look: Take a concealer a few shades lighter than your skin tone, and apply it to the outer corners of your eyes, nose, and mouth in an upward angled motion. Using a flat, dense brush, extend the product toward your temples/or upwards and outwards in a straight line, then blend it out, always using an upwards motion. Think: lift, lift, lift.

Dab a fluffy brush into your brightening powder, like our Huda Beauty Easy Bake Loose Baking & Setting Powder, $34, then, apply the powder over the concealed areas. This sharpens and intensifies the play between light and shadows, making your lift unmissable.

What we liked: We’ve come across many concealer hacks, but this one may just be our fave. Using a brightening powder to go over the concealer-created lift is obvious, but leaning into harsh lines and then blending in an extreme upward motion? Genius.

What we didn’t like: There’s no denying that this is a tight snatch, so if you prefer a more natural sculpt, this probably isn’t for you.

Our Final Verdict

@victorialyn had us at “one product, two tops.” We’ve covered some fabulous concealer hacks in the past, but this one takes the cake. This trick is the perfect way to create a contour-like sculpt without the additional product (#BeautyOnABudget). But we can’t deny that the concealer and powder placement is crucial, so grab a mirror before you start experimenting.
