This trend blew up after makeup artist @paintedbyspencer shared a video of himself applying the flawless liner look with the caption ‘Have you tried the reverse cat eye? It’s my favorite.’ Shortly after, thousands of TikTok’ers rushed to try the look and naturally fell in love with its simple yet fierce vibe.

As you can see, the reverse cat-eye is just as sultry as a regular cat eye, however, it’s inverted the focus to the lower lash. This look is also a great option for hooded eyes as it’s easier to get the wing right. We’ve also been experimenting with different jeweled-toned eyeliners, and we can confirm, it elevates the look and adds a hot girl summer twist.

3. Opt for XXL Hair

Nothing says “summer” like long flowing tresses and all of our fave celebs appear to agree. Everyone from Kim K. to J.Lo and Winnie Harlow have been sporting long, rapunzel-like hair that’s derriere-scraping with slightly thinning ends. It’s seriously glam but equally effortless.
