9 Liner Looks You Need To See (And Recreate)

Liner is universally flattering – it literally looks great on everyone! Not only is it an essential in our makeup kit, but it’s also so versatile and transformative, so it can completely change your look. Naturally, we had to create an eyeliner that was the blackest, mattest, most long-lasting and precise, so we made our Huda Beauty Life Liner! The dual-ended liner tool has both an intense liquid formula with a super fine brush for precision application, and a black pencil so you can smudge and smoke your look or add drama at your waterline.
We’ve been dying over the amazing liner looks we’ve seen since Life Liner launched, so we’re sharing some of the most creative and straight fire liner looks to inspire your makeup game. Here’s all our tips and tricks for getting these amazing Life Liner eyeliner looks.
1. Get Graphic

This graphic liner look is so striking. Paired with our new Hoodie Lash and a faux beauty spot, this look is everything!
Top tip: First, draw your classic wing. Then, mimic the curve of your liner just above your crease and arch it down towards the inner corner of your eye. You can first create the shape with eyeshadow and follow the shape with the liner to make it easier.
2. The Extended Wing

If you’re going for a dramatic wing, draw the wing first. By beginning at the outer corner, it’s easier to get the angle right so that it lifts and snatches your eye instead of making them appear droopy. Chanel Temple, global makeup artist for Hourglass Cosmetics agrees, “I always start with the wing by marking the outermost corner of your eye and drawing a thin line angled slightly upward,” she explains.

This is giving us some serious Euphoria vibes and we’re SO here for it. We love the addition of the falsies on the lower lash line.
4. The Ultimate Cat Eye

Lining the inner tear duct really takes this look to the next level and makes the eyes pop. To get the look, trace your tear duct with liner along the upper and lower lash line. You want the line to be as thin as possible (our liner brush is hand-trimmed to give ultimate precision) so make sure you don’t have too much product on the brush, and go SLOWLY!
5. Smokey Wing

Farah Dhukai always comes through with her looks. We love how she used Life Liner to create a sexy, smokey winged look by using the pencil formula with an angled brush.
6. The Classic Wing

Monochromatic makeup (using the same color for your eyes, lips, and cheeks) is seriously trending RN. We love this ultra-feminine look with a classic wing.
7. Popping Pink Wing

The contrast of the hot pink lid and jet black liner (the shade is called Very Vanta, aka the darkest black known to man) is so fierce. To create an even base of eyeshadow, use a dense brush and pack the product by gently pressing the powder onto the lid. Then blend it out using back and forth motions (think windshield wipers).
